Chad D. Hunter, PLPC
Mr. Hunter graduated from Evangel University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and received the “Outstanding Psychology Practicum Student Award.” After attending Evangel University, he received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2005.

Mr. Hunter’s experience in the mental health field began 2003 as a Targeted Case Manager for Children’s Services at Burrell Behavioral Health. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Hunter transitioned into working with children and families as a Children’s Psychiatric Rehabilitation Case Manager. Mr. Hunter excelled in providing services designed to assess and treat children with emotional and behavioral disturbances in home and school settings. Some of the services provided included positive parenting and communication skills, behavioral interventions, problem solving/coping skills and anger management education.

Mr. Hunter did his graduate internship at Evangel University Counseling Center in 2004. Counseling and psychoeducational services were provided to the student population in areas of depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. Additionally, Mr. Hunter has guest lectured and co-instructed undergraduate and graduate courses at Evangel University in the areas of Psychology and Personality, Group Dynamics, Abnormal Psychology and Professional Ethics.

Mr. Hunter is currently involved with Shapes, a mentoring program for children and adolescents of incarcerated parents. Mr. Hunter has also been involved with Royal Family Kids Camp as a counselor for abused and neglected youth.

Mr. Hunter joined Herndon Snider and Associates professional team in 2005 as a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor. Mr. Hunter is under the clinical supervision of Jan Snider Kent, Ph.D. He provides individual and family therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults.

Mr. Hunter is a member of the American Counseling Association as well as the American Association of Christian Counselors.
